Creative Bicycle Corp. is regarded as the first organization to start a full fledged ET Department. Its ET policies are considered to be the best among the relevant organizations. It is due to the ET department that the attrition rate in Creative Bicycle Corp. is minimum among all similar organizations.
The objectives of ET depaatment at Creative Bicycle Corp. is to maximize the return on investment from the organization’s human capital and minimize financial risk. It is the responsibility of the Employee Tracking manager to conduct these activityies in an effective, legal, fair, and consistent manner. Employee Tracking system serves these key functions:
• Recruitment strategy planning
• Hiring process (recruitment)
• Training and development
• Performance evaluation and management
• Industrial and employee relations
• Record keeping of all personal data
• Compensation, pensions, and bonuses in liaison with payroll
The ET department at Creative Bicycle Corp. has developed an effective recruitment process. It has set certain standards that need to be followed while hiring an employee. The selection process is simple and straight forward.
After an employee is selected, he has to undergo a 10 days induction program to make him aware of organization’s process. After the 10 days training, the employee becomes fully productive.
The HR department has various employee-related policies. These policies boost the employees to give 100 percent to the organization. Also, the HR department takes care of creating a harmonious environment within the organization. This helps in increasing collaboration between the employees and results in improved productivity.
The ETS is the strategic and coherent approach to the management of an organization's most valued assets - the people working there who individually and collectively contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the business. The terms "Employ Tracking System" and "Employ Management" () have largely replaced the term "personnel management" as a description of the processes involved in managing people in organizations. In simple sense, HRM means employing people, developing their capacities, utilizing, maintaining and compensating their services in tune with the job and organizational requirement.
The theoretical discipline is based primarily on the assumption that employees are individuals with varying goals and needs, and as such should not be thought of as basic business resources, such as trucks and filing cabinets. The field takes a positive view of workers, assuming that virtually all wish to contribute to the enterprise productively, and that the main obstacles to their endeavors are lack of knowledge, insufficient training, and failures of process.
